Offered here is a fascinating cabochon of rare Horse Canyon agate, from California. This highly sought after moss agate is arguably some of the prettiest and rarest there is, becoming tougher to get by the day. The area where it comes from is now private and closed, so there's been no collecting for quite some time now. This classic beauty features a fabulous lattice-like pattern of moss and strings in shades of green and yellow, adrift in a highly translucent agate base, along with a couple tiny druzy vugs, one of which is beneath the surface.
