Priday moss agate cab ~
Offered here is an enchanting cabochon of Priday moss agate, from the Priday Ranch digs in Oregon. It was cut from some old stock, tucked away for decades in the cherished collection of an old gentleman rockhound. It is truly a unique and distinguished cab, with a lush pattern of mosses and stringers that bring to mind an underwater garden, complete with a little white snail! The background agate is a very pale purplish gray that completes the underwater illusion quite perfectly, but I seem to have misplaced the backlit photo somehow. Hmmmm...oh well, you get the idea. The cab has a well rounded dome, a graceful shape that'll be fun to work with, and a fine glassy polish both front and back.
